The Northwest Missouri State track and field team continued along with day two of the Kansas Relays and the Bryan Clay Invite.

Reece Smith placed first in the men's 5,000 meter run as he beat his own school record in the event by nearly seven seconds with a time of 13:50.79.
Caroline Cunningham earned a 13th place finish in the women's 5,000 meter run as she came in at 16:53.58 which set the new school record in the event.
Luisarys Toledo finished 38th in the women's invite 800 meter run with a time of 2:07.78 which marks a new school record in the race. Bailey Blake finished the event with a time of 2:09.15 (personal best), and Kaylee Harp finished the run in 2:09.42.
Drew Atkins finished 22nd in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 30:06.57. This is now the third fastest time in Northwest history.
Shelby Butterfield took fifth in the heptathlon javelin throw with a mark of 103' 9" (31.64m) and placed sixth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:30.31.
Anna Gladstone finished 20th in the heptathlon long jump with a distance of 17' 0.50" (5.19m), 13th in the javelin throw 98' 9" (30.10m), and 23rd in the 800 meter run (2:33.41).
Lydia McGlocklin finished 32nd in the women's open 800 meter run clocking in at 2:13.50.
Riley Witt ran the men's 800 meter run in 1:56.62.
KANSAS RELAYS – Lawrence, Kan.
Hannah Hatzenbuehler ran the 100 meter hurdles in 15.11 to finish 24th overall.
Quinn Weakley finished seventh in the women's shot put, throwing a distance of 42-11.50 (13.09m).
Corbin Smith finished 25th in the men's 400 meter hurdles as he recorded a time of 58.82.Â
Antonio Perez recorded an eighth place finish in the men's discus throw as he reached a mark of 163-7 (49.87m).Â
Journey Lyons finished eighth in the women's javelin throw with a mark of 125-7 (38.28m).
