SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team wrapped up its 24th MIAA regular season championship with a 6-1 dual victory over the Augustana Vikings at the Huether Tennis Centre.

The Bearcat men matched the Northwest women in capturing the regular season MIAA title. It is the seventh time that the Bearcats have won both the women's and men's regular season MIAA crowns. It also occurred in 1987, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2010 and 2023.

Northwest is the only MIAA school to have won the regular season title with both genders seven times. The double-MIAA crowns have occurred in the span of five decades (1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s) under the direction of head coach
Mark Rosewell.

Friday's victory marked the seventh straight dual win for the No. 13-ranked Bearcats. Northwest improved its season mark to 13-5 overall and 7-0 in MIAA/GAC dual action.

Northwest breezed through the doubles play with wins in all three matches to take a 1-0 lead.
