BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State track and field team posted new school records on day two of the SBU Bearcat Invite. The women placed first in the meet with 146 points and the men placed fourth with 96 points.Â

The men's 4x100 meter relay team set a new school record in the event as the team clocked in with a time of 40.40.

The women's 4x100 meter relay team beat its own school record it set a week ago by earning a time of 45.95.
The Bearcat women had the top two finishes in the women's 4x400 meter relay. The B team finished first in 3:42.24 which is a new school record and the A team finished second in 3:42.66.

Luisarys Toledo took first place in the women's long jump with a distance of 19' 0.75" (5.81m).
Shelby Butterfield placed 13
th in the event with a jump of 17' 4.00" (5.28m).

Joel Dos Santos finished 10
th in the men's long jump as he reached a mark of 22' 6.25" (6.86m).

Kaitlin Peek placed sixth in the women's discus throw with a distance of 136-10 (41.71m).
Quinn Weakley finished 17
th in the event with a mark of 122-9 (37.42m).

Dakota Schmidt took fourth in the men's javelin with a throw of 204-8 (62.39m).

K.J. Smith finished 10
th in the men's discus throw (147-9, 45.04m),
Antonio Perez finished 14
th (143-3, 43.66m), and
David Hipshire finished 19
th (132-6, 40.39m).

In the women's javelin,
Addison Long placed ninth (130-8, 39.82m), and
Journey Lyons placed 13
th (124-1, 37.82m).

Alyna Thibault finished seventh in the women's 1500 meter run (4:45.15) and

The Bearcat men had three runners in the top ten in the men's 1500 meter run.
Riley Witt placed sixth (4:02.07),

In the women's 100 meter hurdle finals,
Ally Hammond took third (14.41) and
Sarah Prickett took fifth (14.65).

In the women's 100 meter dash finals,
Ally Hammond finished fourth (12.22) and
Lexie Gilbert finished sixth (12.23).

Enrico Cavagna earned second in the men's 100 meter dash finals with a time of 10.67.

Carson Lauterbach finished first overall in the men's 3000 meter steeplechase clocking in at 9:33.20.

In the women's 400 meter dash the 'Cats took three of the top four times. In first was
Luisarys Toledo (54.36), in third was
Bailey Blake (57.52), and in fourth was
Kaylee Harp (57.71).

In the men's 400 meter dash the Bearcats went one, two, three with
Prince Griffin taking first (48.37),
R.J. Williams took second (48.78), and
Federico Crisci took third (49.71).

Whitney Post clocked in at 2:18.18 in the women's 800 meter run and Lydia McGlockin crossed the finish in 2:18.88.
Haley Luna placed 12
th in the event (2:21.48) and
Alyna Thibault placed 13

Olivia Sattlefield took first in the women's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.66, and
Jaedy Commins finished just behind her in second clocking in at 1:02.14.
