DURANT, Okla. - The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team took advantage of a limited Southeastern Oklahoma State roster to notch a 6-1 road dual win.
Northwest earned the doubles point with a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles from
Vera Alenicheva and
Tessa Kwakernaak. SEOKST did not field a No. 3 doubles team to give Northwest a 1-0 lead.
The Bearcats were credited with wins at five of the singles matches with only two of those matches reaching completion before forfeits and retirements.
The Northwest women moved its season mark to 6-2 overall, while SEOKST dropped to 2-9.
