MARYVILLE, Mo. - The MSU Denver men's tennis team scored a 4-3 dual win over the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats Saturday on the Frank Grube Courts at the
Mark Rosewell Tennis Center.
The Roadrunners scored a key win in doubles to take the early lead in the dual, 1-0. MSU Denver captured doubles wins at No. 1 and No. 3. Northwest's No. 2 doubles squad of
Andrea Zamurri and
Fillippo Piranomonte scored a 6-4 victory.
Northwest managed three wins in singles play from No. 3
Michael Delebois, No. 4 Piranomonte and No. 6
Mason Meier. But the Roadrunners also tallied three singles wins to take the dual.
Northwest is 3-4 on the seaosn, while MSU Denver is 6-3 overall.
