The all-time series between Northwest and William Jewell is knotted up at 4-4. The Bearcats won the last matchup which was Feb. 26, 2021. William Jewell has a 4-20 overall record this season.

Emporia State has a 53-23 all-time advantage over Northwest. The 'Cats were swept in the doubleheader during the 2022 season, but in the season prior to that, Northwest swept the Hornets. ESU has a current record of 18-12 overall, 2-4 in MIAA action.

Washburn is leading Northwest in the all-time series, 58-44. Just like Emporia, Northwest swept the Ichabods in the 2021 season and then Washburn came back the next season and swept the Bearcats. Washburn enters the week 27-5 overall and 6-2 in conference play. As of March 19, the Ichabods were nationally ranked at No. 21.

The Bearcats rank fourth in the conference in hitting with a team average of .316.

Olivia Daugherty has been impressive at the plate this season as she ranks in the top ten in a handful of MIAA statistical categories. Daugherty ranks second in RBIs (35), tied for second in home runs (10), fourth in hits (41), fourth in slugging percentage (.786), fifth in OPS (1.248), and ninth in batting average (.418). She leads the team in hits this season with 41. Daugherty's next home run will tie her career-high for home runs in a season which is 11.

Omara Love has also been great at the plate in her freshman campaign as she leads the team in batting average and is second on the team in doubles. In the MIAA, Love is fifth in hits (40), sixth in batting average (.426), and seventh in doubles (10).

Skylar Pieper leads the 'Cats in doubles this season with 11 as well as runs with 27. She currently ranks fifth in the MIAA in doubles and ranks eighth in runs scored. She is the only Bearcat to record a triple this season.

Lillie Filger leads Northwest in at bats with 104, which ranks second in the conference. Filger also ranks sixth in the league in hits with 39.

Hayden Simmons is No. 5 in the conference in both ERA (1.71) and opposing batting average (.206), and is No. 9 in batters struck out looking (17).

Jadyn Streigle ranks ninth in the MIAA in innings pitched (76.2) and also ranks ninth in wins (8).
