Women's 4x100 Relay School Record at ESU Relays

Women's 4x100, Dos Santos breeze to school records at ESU Relays

The Northwest Missouri State track and field teams competed at both the ESU Relays/Combined Events and the Spank Blasing Invitational.

Dakota Schmidt finished second in the men's javelin with a mark of 200-2 (61.01m).
 
Addison Long placed seventh in the women's javelin with a distance of 120-7 (36.81m).
 
Reece Smith earned a first place finish in the men's 3,000 meter steeplechase clocking in at 9:19.22.
 
Jake Norris finished sixth in the men's 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:09.53.
 
Caroline Cunningham took third in the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase as she came in at 11:23.84.
 
ESU Relays/Combined Events
The women's 4x100 meter relay team of Reese Brown, Kennedi Cline, Lexie Gilbert, and Ally Hammond took first place while earning a new school record with a time of 46.45. This is a Division II Provisional Qualifying time.
 
Joel Dos Santos placed third in the men's 100 meter dash as he posted a Division II Provisional Qualifying time of 10.39. This sets a new school record in the event.
 
The men's 4x100 meter relay team of Dominic Sedlacek, Joel Dos Santos, Gavyn Monday, and Enrico Cavagna placed 10th coming in at 43.40.
 
Whitney Post finished third in the women's 1500 meter run crossing the finish in 4:43.63.
 
Ally Hammond earned a new personal best and finished second in the women's 100 meter hurdles clocking in at 14.30. This is the fourth fastest time in school history. Sarah Prickett placed fourth in the event with a time of 14.39 and Hannah Hatzenbuehler finished 10th with a time of 15.31.
 
Haley Luna finished ninth in the women's 400 meter dash as she crossed the finish in 58.72.
 
Northwest had three runners finish in the top eight of the women's 100 meter dash. Ally Hammond finished second (11.76), Kennedi Cline finished fourth (11.85), and Lexie Gilbert finished eighth (12.08). Hammond and Cline both earned Division II Provisional Qualifying times and both set new personal bests in the event.
 
Riley Witt placed third in the men's 800 meter run coming in at 1:54.03.
 
In the women's 400 meter hurdles Olivia Sattlefield took second (1:01.57) and Jaedy Commins took third (1:01.89). Sattlefield posted the fourth fastest time in school history and Commins posted the sixth fastest time in school history. Both times are Division II Provisional Qualifying times.
 
Danny Jantzen placed sixth in the men's 400 meter hurdles clocking in at 54.63.
