Northwest has earned its third appearance at the MIAA tournament in the past four years. No. 8-seeded Northwest will be playing in the first round against No. 9-seeded Newman March 1 at 6:00 p.m.

In the program's 27 MIAA Tournament appearances the team is 16-24 with three tournament championships. The Bearcats won the conference tournament in 2004, 2008, and 2011.
