KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA has announced its 2023 MIAA Women's Basketball Championship bracket.
The opening round will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 inside Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri.
Nebraska-Kearney earned the No. 1 seed with a 20-2 conference record and a regular season MIAA championship. The Lopers will face the winner of No. 8 Northwest Missouri State (9-13) versus No. 9 Neman (7-13) which will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1.
Central Missouri earned the No. 2 seed with a 19-3 conference record. The Jennies will then play the winner of No. 7 Emporia State (9-13) versus No. 10 Central Oklahoma (7-15) which will tip-off at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 1.
Pittsburg State drew the No. 4 seed (16-5) and will play No. 5 Missouri Southern (16-6) Friday, March 3 at 6:00 p.m. Missouri Western drew the No. 3 seed (18-3) and will play No. 6 Fort Hays State (14-8) Friday, March 3 at 8:15 p.m.
