SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Wayne State University women's tennis team scored a 4-0 win over the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats at the Cooper Indoor Courts on Saturday evening.
Wayne State moved its season mark to 8-0, while Northwest dipped to 3-2.
Northwest captured a win at No. 2 doubles when
Tessa Kwakernaak and
Vera Alenicheva tallied a 6-2 victory over WSU's Malak Arafat and Sabrina Laynes. However, Wayne State won doubles matches at No. 1 and No. 3 to secure the doubles point.
WSU notched three singles wins to close out the 4-0 dual win.
