WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State baseball team was held scoreless in a 4-0 loss in game one of the double header and game two of a three game series against the Central Missouri Mules.
Northwest falls to 2-11, 0-2 in MIAA play and Central Missouri moves to 8-5, 2-0 in the MIAA.
It was a scoreless game for 3.5 innings when the Mules struck first on a sac fly in the bottom half of the fourth.
Central Missouri would tack three more on in the sixth chasing Bearcat starter
Zach Wiese after a leadoff double. Wiese was tagged with the loss, moving his record to 1-2 on the season.
Northwest only tallied two hits in the game, One by
Brady Miles and one by Noah Bodenhasuen.
Northwest struck out eight times and left five runners on base.
GAME 2 Recap – The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team dropped a heartbreaker in the final game of a three-game series on the road vs. the Central Missouri Mules.
Northwest falls to 2-12, 0-3 in MIAA play and Central Missouri moves to 9-5, 3-0 in the MIAA.
Northwest surrendered a four run ninth, Northwest led 5-2 entering the ninth inning and the Mules would later walk it off with a single to right field by Max Holy.
After one inning of play the Bearcats led 2-1 after
Ryan Williams RBI double and an RBI groundout by
Trey Morris.
Northwest would add two more on a two-run double by
Alex Bowers in the top of the third.
Brady Miles would then drive in
Evan Tocmo on a RBI groundout and the Bearcats lead 5-1 after four innings of play.

Alex Slocum was excellent, going 7.0 innings giving up one earned run on five hits.
Casey Stalzer was tagged with the loss.
Northwest is back in action next weekend at home vs. Missouri Southern.
