TOPEKA, Kan. - The Northwest Missouri State softball team had its first matchup of the Washburn Invitational cancelled due to icy field conditions. The Bearcats were supposed to face off against Missouri-St. Louis at 3:30 p.m. in Topeka, Kansas. 

Northwest will play Wayne State and Southwest Minnesota State tomorrow. The matchup against Wayne State will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Lake Shawnee South Field. The squads matchup against Southwest Minnesota State is set for 5:30 p.m. at Lake Shawnee South Field as well.
