Bearcat indoor track and field teams continue to produce provisional marks at Last Chance Meet

The Northwest Missouri State indoor track and field team produced impressive performances at the Friday Night Lights – Last Chance Meet in Hughes Fieldhouse.
 
The men's 4x400 meter relay team of Prince Griffin, Federico Crisci, R.J. Williams, and Truman Hare took first place as they recorded a blazing time of 3:11.30 that puts them at No. 3 in the nation as well as No. 3 in school history. This is an NCAA Div. II Provisional Qualifying mark.
 
Northwest earned the top two finishes in the men's 200 meter dash. Joel Dos Santos finished first overall in 21.66 which is an NCAA Div. II Provisional Qualifying time, and it is also the sixth best time in school history. Zac Anderson finished right behind him in second with a time of 22.13.
 
In the women's 400 meter dash, the 'Cats had the first four finishers in the race. Kaylee Harp took first coming in at 56.66 which is good for an NCAA Div. II Provisional Qualifying time. Olivia Sattlefield earned second in 57.31, Haley Luna placed third in 57.70, and Jaedy Commins took fourth in 57.83.
 
Bailey Blake took first place overall in the women's 800 meter run and was closely followed by Lydia McGlocklin who took second. Blake's time was 2:12.18 and McGlocklin's time was 2:12.62. Both of these are NCAA Div. II Provisional Qualifying times.
 
Northwest finished with the top two times in the women's 60 meter hurdles. Sarah Prickett came in first with an NCAA Div. II Provisional Qualifying time of 8.84. Hannah Hatzenbuehler came in second with a time of 9.17.
 
In the women's 60 meter dash Reese Brown earned a first place finish with a time of 7.97. Brown also took first place in the women's 200 meter dash as she recorded a time of 26.40.
 
Zac Anderson took first in the men's 60 meter dash earning a time of 6.93. Brandon Cooper took third place in the event crossing the finish in 7.26.
 
In the women's mile run, Amber Owens placed first and earned a time of 5:04.55 which puts her at No. 8 in school history. Danie Parriott placed second as she crossed the finish in 5:33.70. Amanda Seggerman finished third coming in at 5:37.95.
 
Carson Lauterbach took first place overall in the men's 3000 meter run as he came in at 8:49.60. Dillon Grover finished eighth with a time of 9:00.09.
 
Danny Jantzen and Zach Pittman finished second and third respectively in the men's 400 meter dash. Jantzen recorded a time of 50.42 and Pittman came in at 50.56.
 
Brooks Mathis placed seventh in the men's 800 meter run as he recorded a time of 2:00.22.
 
Kyla Davis took third place in the women's triple jump with a mark of 32' 09.00" (9.98m).
 
In the women's shot put, Quinn Weakley recorded a mark of 42' 06.25" (12.96m) which earned her a second place finish in the event.
 
David Hipshire and Antonio Perez finished third and fourth in the men's shot put. Hipshire had a distance of 46' 02.50" (14.08m) and Perez had a distance of 42' 02.25" (12.86m).
 
Kaitlin Peek finished second in the women's weight throw with a mark of 52' 02.50" (15.91m).
 
In the men's weight throw, David Hipshire took second with a mark of 53' 03.50" (16.24m), KJ Smith took fourth with a distance of 45' 10.50" (13.98m), and Antonio Perez took sixth with a mark of 44' 08.00" (13.61m).
