LIBERTY, Mo. - The No. 16-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team snared a 6-1 dual win over the William Jewell Cardinals Friday afternoon at the Clayview Country Club indoor courts.
Northwest took its season record to 2-1. William Jewell fell to 5-7 on the year.
The Bearcats took care of business in doubles play by scoring three wins. The No. 2 doubles match went to a tiebreaker as Northwest's

Fabien Calloud withstood WJC's Julien Lafranchise and Max Quennery, 7-6.

Andrea Zamurri survived third-set super tiebreakers to prevail. Delebois notched a 10-7 tiebreak win over Max Quennery and Zamurri held off WJC's Ugnius Bickauskis, 10-8.
The Bearcat men will travel to Wichita, Kan., on Sunday to take on the Wichita State Shockers at 3 p.m.
