Northwest Missouri State University junior midfielder
Lucia Fernandez has landed a spot on the 2023 MIAA Women's Soccer All-Tournament team.
Fernandez (Saragoza, Spain) was the only Bearcat named to the all-tournament squad. Fernandez won 5-of-6 defensive duals and 12-of-12 offensive duals in the matchup with Emporia State. Fernandez also tallied four defensive interceptions in the matchup with the Hornets.
Fernandez was a third-team all-MIAA pick this season for the Bearcats as she helped lead the squad to a mark of 8-5-6 overall and 5-2-4 in conference play.
