The Northwest Missouri State University women's soccer team will play a pair of home matches at the Bearcat Pitch against MIAA foes Emporia State and No. 25 Washburn this week.
 
Northwest (3-4-3 overall, 0-2-1 MIAA) will match up Friday at 3 p.m. against Emporia State (3-4-3 overall, 2-1 MIAA). The all-time series against the Hornets is tied at 16-16-2, with the last matchup dating back to Nov. 4, 2022, as the Hornets won, 1-0. The Hornets are currently on an eight-match winning streak against the Bearcats.  
 
On Sunday, at 1 p.m., the No. 25 ranked Washburn Ichabods (9-1 overall, 3-0 MIAA) will come to town.
  
Washburn leads the all-time series 14-11-4 with winning the last meeting 3-0, in Maryville.  
 
Kaylie Rock leads the Bearcats in goals (4), points (10), shots (31), and shots-on-goal (17) this season. She also ranks third overall in the MIAA in shots and shots-on-goal, with also ranking fifth in overall points.  
 
Ximena Arnau leads the team in assists with three this season. Arnau ranks fifth overall in the MIAA in assists.
