The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team is seeking its third straight win as Central Missouri and Lincoln make a visit to Bearcat Arena later this week.

The Bearcats improved their record to 9-7 overall and 4-6 in the MIAA with two wins last week.

The Central Missouri Jennies have a 15-0 overall record and an 11-0 conference record.

The Lincoln Blue Tigers are 5-11 overall and 3-7 in MIAA play.

About Northwest
The Bearcats are averaging 61.0 points per game this season and their opponents average 61.4 points per game. Northwest is shooting 39.6 percent from the field, 30.2 percent from three, and 67.5 percent from the free throw line. About Lincoln
Northwest is 16-6 when facing Lincoln. The Bearcats have won five of the last six meetings between the teams. Northwest's most recent victory over Lincoln came Jan. 27, 2022, by a score of 63-46.
 
The Blue Tigers average 64.3 points per game while allowing 73.3 points per game to their opponents.
 
Lincoln has just one player averaging double figures scoring wise with Le'Yanna McGinnis at 13.9 ppg. McGinnis is No. 5 in the MIAA in field goal percentage at 52.1 percent, and No. 8 in blocks with 1.1 per game.
 
Kelsey Mitchell is currently ranked No. 4 in the conference in three-point field goal percentage at 38.3% as she has knocked down 36-of-94 attempts. She also ranks No. 4 in three-pointers per game at 2.3. 
 
LINDSEY IS LIGHTING IT UP
Redshirt freshman Lindsey Kelderman earned her first two starts as a Bearcat this past weekend at UCO and Newman. In those games, Kelderman went 7-of-10 from three and posted 14 points at UCO and 13 points at Newman.
 
Kelderman is now shooting 37.1% from beyond the arc. She has made at least one three-pointer in six of Northwest's last seven games.
 
POST EFFICIENCY FROM EIMAN
In last weekend's two games, Lauren Eiman tied her career-high scoring total with seven points, and then followed that performance with a 12 point game setting her new career-high two days later.
 
Prior to the weekend, Eiman had scored just 29 points all year. In last week's games, she totaled 19 total points on 9-of-12 shooting.
 
HARTNETT STAYING STRONG OFFENSIVELY
Sophomore guard Molly Hartnett is averaging 12.7 ppg so far this season. This is the third straight season Hartnett has averaged double figures in the scoring column.
 
Hartnett has handed out a team-high 52 assists on the year. She has dished out five or more assists in five games so far this season.
 
PK FOR THREE
Sophomore guard Peyton Kelderman has knocked in at least one three-pointer in 11 of Northwest's 16 games this season. She has sank a team-best 27 three-pointers and is shooting 35.5% from beyond the arc.
 
VAZQUEZ RACKING UP STEALS
Sophomore guard Evelyn Vazquez had 26 steals during the 2021-22 season. Vazquez has a team-high 35 steals so far this season.
 
FIELDS GRABBING REBOUNDS
Kelsey Fields is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game so far this season. Of her 141 total rebounds, 51 of them have come on the offensive end.
 
GREEN SETS CAREER BLOCK RECORD AT NORTHWEST
Sophomore Jayna Green entered into Northwest's top-10 all-time shot blockers last season. She registered 29 blocks as a freshman before notching 33 in 2020-21. Green blocked 43 shots last season, which was good for the No. 3 spot in the MIAA. In Northwest's last game at Newman, Green recorded her 123rd career block to make her the all-time block leader in school history.
