Northwest Missouri State junior Kaylie Rock has been named the MIAA's Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Rock (Lee's Summit, Mo./Lee's Summit North HS) tallied two goals and two assists as Northwest picked up wins over Missouri-St. Louis and Sioux Falls. Rock assisted on two goals and took one shot in a 3-1 home win over Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday afternoon. Rock then netted the first two goals in a 4-0 road win against Sioux Falls on Sunday afternoon. Rock was credited with the game-winning goal. She took four total shots against USF.

Rock has accumulated 15 career goals and his three goals away from tying the school record of 18 goals set by Victoria Von Mende (2011-12). Rock has also posted 37 career points, which ranks No. 3 in Bearcat history behind 41 points by Victoria Von Mende (2011-12) and 39 points by Beth Gutschenritter (2003-06).

The Bearcat soccer team will be in action Friday at Missouri Western and at home Sunday against Central Missouri.

It is the second time in her Bearcat career that Rock has been named the MIAA's offensive player of the week.
