The Northwest Missouri State men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas this weekend. The Bearcats have not competed since September 17 at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite, where both the men's and women's teams beat numerous Division I schools.

The Greeno/Dirksen Invite was a great showing for both Northwest cross country teams as they battled against teams across all divisions. The women's squad came in 1
st place of the gold division with 23 points. The men's team finished 3
rd in the gold division with 92 points. The women topped six Division I schools at the meet and the men beat four.
