MARYVILLE, Mo. - The 2022 football season will open Thursday night when the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats will play host to the Fort Hays State University Tigers.

Kick is set for 7 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a free T-shirt courtesy of US Bank.

Tailgate lots will be open five hours prior to kickoff. The Bearcat Walk from Hughes Fieldhouse to the stadium will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Northwest Missouri State University department of athletics would like to encourage fans to enjoy the game-day experience at Bearcat Stadium.

All tailgating activities and consumption of alcohol shall cease at kickoff.

Northwest Cross Country The Northwest men's and women's cross country teams will open up the 2022 season at home with the Bearcat XC Open on Friday, Sept. 2.
