Northwest Missouri State University's Al McKeller has signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

McKeller (Indianapolis, Ind.) finished third in the 2021 Harlon Hill Award voting. He was D2CCA First-Team All-America pick and a Don Hansen First-Team All-America selection. He was a first-team all-MIAA pick at running back. McKeller rushed the ball 284 times for 1,601 yards, including 19 rushing touchdowns and one receiving score. He produced eight 100-yard rushing performances this season and has tallied 24 100-yard rushing games in his collegiate career. His 284 carries ranked No. 4 in the nation and No. 1 in the MIAA. He ranked No. 4 in the nation in total rushing yards and No. 8 in the country in rushing yards per game (123.2). McKeller finished the 2021 season as the NCAA Division II active career leader in all-purpose yards with 5,574. McKeller ranked first among active career leaders in rushing yards (5,159). He rushed for 61 career touchdowns.
