WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State University track & field team sent a contingent of competitors for Friday's Mule Relays.
Amber Owens recorded the second-fastest 10,000-meter run in Northwest women's outdoor track history. Owens placed second in the event with a time of 37:08.23.
Jacob Nkamasiai captured the Mule Relays title in the men's 10,000-meter run. Nkamasiai finished with a time of 31:08.82.
Jake Norris notched a second-place effort in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:25.38.
Ian Richmond took third place in the men's pole vault with a mark of 4.85m, which is an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark.
Addison Long placed fifth in the women's javelin with a throw of 40.22m.
Northwest's
Federico Crisci (48.61) and
R.J. Williams (48.66) finished in fifth and sixth place respectively in the men's 400-meter race. Williams also nabbed a seventh-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.14.
Trevor Ramsdell took sixth in the men's 5,000-meter race with a clocking of 15:29.60.
