Josie Zeiger captured the women's javelin title at the Cal State LA Twilight Open with a personal-best throw of 42.53m (139'6.5"). Zeiger posted her best mark on her sixth and final attempt.

Zeiger earned an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark with her toss. It ranks as the fifth-best outdoor women's javelin toss in Bearcat history. It ranks as the 22
nd-best mark in the nation this season among NCAA Division II competitors.
DAY TWO
The Northwest men's and women's 4x100 relay squads each took first place with blazing times in each event at the Cal State LA Twilight Open.

Marcus Klein tallied a time of 40.89 – the second-fastest time in program history. The men earned an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time with their performance.

Kyah Luhring recorded a clocking of 47.19. It is the ninth-best time in school history.

Joel Dos Santos placed second in the men's long jump with a leap of 7.21m (23'7¾").

Prickett was crowned the women's champion in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.14.
Prickett's time is an NCAA provisional qualifying mark and ranks as the second-best outdoor time in Bearcat women's history. Teammate

Lexie Gilbert took fifth overall in the women's 100-meter dash. Gilbert was clocked at a personal-best time of 12.23 in the race. Gilbert's previous best came at the Wichita State Open (April 10, 2021) with a time of 12.47.
