Anna Gladstone took part in the women's heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. Gladstone competed in the "B Division" at the event. Gladstone tallied 2,832 points on day one as she tallied a trio of personal bests.

Gladstone scored 775 event points in the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.51. Gladstone's previous career-best time in the 100 hurdles was 16.04.

Gladstone netted 712 points in the high jump with a best height of 1.58m (5'2¼"). She also tallied a personal-best in the high jump outperforming her previous mark of 1.57m (5'1¾").

Gladstone performed well in the shot put earning a throw of 10.80m (35'5¾") to tally 582 event points. It was her best ever throw outdoors, topping her previous best by more than two full meters (nearly seven feet). Through three events, Gladstone had posted 2,069 points.

She finished her final event of the day, the 200m dash, with a time of 26.39 to earn 763 event points. It marked her third personal-best of the competition as her previous top time in the 200m came at 26.58.

The heptathlon will be completed on Thursday with the final three events (long jump, javelin and 800m run).
