The Northwest Missouri State University indoor track and field teams had eight individuals honored with USTFCCCA All-Region accolades.
The Bearcat women has six individuals earned all-region status in their disciplines. Freshman
Luisarys Toledo led the way with three all-region nods in the pentathlon, 400-meter dash and the 4x400 relay.
Caroline Cunningham earned all-region status in the mile and 5,000 meters.
Tiffany Hughey was also a double all-region recipient in the 400-meter dash and the 4x400 relay.
Jaedy Commins (4x400),
Chloe Saenz (4x400) and
Jada Shanklin (high jump) also notched all-region status.
A pair of Bearcat men earned all-region status in
Blake Morgan (high jump) and
Reece Smith (3,000 meters).
The Bearcats will send eight competitors to the 2022 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships this Friday and Saturday in Pittsburg, Kan.
