ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team scored its second victory of the day with a 4-0 sweep of Henderson State.

Northwest improves to 5-1 on the season.

The Bearcats secured the doubles' point when all three Northwest squads produced victories.

It did not take long for Northwest to take care of business in singles play and clinch the 4-0 dual win. Vera Alenicheva scored a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. Julia Aliseda cruised to a double-bagel, 6-0, 6-0 triumph at No. 3 singles. Sofia Pignataro polished off the Reddies at No. 4 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
