BENTONVILLE, Ark. - The Northwest Missouri State University softball team scored the first win of head coach 
Naomi Tellez's career with a 6-4 win over Arkansas-Monticello at the Alvy Early Classic.
Northwest (1-5 overall) picked up 12 hits in the victory. Arkansas-Monticello dropped to 1-4 overall.
Northwest had four players achieve two hits in 
Hannah Blackford, 
Olivia Daugherty, 
Abby Nolte and 
Ady Watts.
Breck Dickey earned the victory in the circle for the Bearcats. Dickey allowed eight hits and four runs while striking out three. 
Hayden Simmons secured the save in the seventh.
