MARYVILLE, Mo. - The No. 15-ranked Northwest Missouri State University volleyball team produced its fifth straight win over the Washburn University Ichabods on Friday night at Bearcat Arena.
Northwest won by set scores of 28-26, 25-15, 27-29, 25-21 over the No. 10-ranked Ichabods. Northwest improved to 15-5 overall and 9-3 in MIAA play, while Washburn fell to 17-4 overall and 9-4 in league play.
Northwest is 6-4 against ranked foes this season, including a mark of 3-2 against top-10 ranked opponents.

Payton Kirchhoefer dazzled the home crowd with a 22-kill, 22-dig performance. Junior
Jaden Ferguson secured a career-high 29 digs to go along with 15 kills for a double-double, while she hit .353 for the match. Sophomore libero

Alyssa Rezac quarterbacked the offensive attack with 64 assists. Sophomore
Olivia Dir earned a start and came through with 14 kills.
Northwest will return to action Saturday at 6 p.m. against Emporia State. Admission is free to Saturday night's match following Northwest's football game against Washburn at Bearcat Stadium.
