A trio of Northwest Missouri State University football players have been selected as members of the D2Football.com's Elite 100 squad.
Offensive tackle
Tanner Owen, defensive lineman
Sam Roberts and running back
Al McKeller each earned spots on the Elite 100 team.
Owen and Roberts were chosen to the first team, while McKeller notched a spot on the second team.Â
The D2Football.com Elite 100 was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with input from coaches, scouts, media and sports information directors from around the country. D2Football.com has compiled an Elite 100 team since its inception in 2000.
Northwest also earned a No. 3 ranking in the final D2Football.com Top 25 poll for the 2021 season.
