Men's, women's cross country 4th in regional polls

After competing at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invite in Lincoln last Saturday, the Northwest Missouri State men's and women's cross country teams find themselves ranked fourth in their respective regional polls. The Bearcat women, who were not previously ranked, soared into the top-5 following an impressive third-place finish at the Greeno Invite, placing just behind NCAA Division I Iowa and Nebraska.

It is the highest regional ranking for the Bearcat women's team since Northwest was ranked third in the final South Central Region ranking in 2011.
