ST. JOSEPH, Missouri - The No. 12-ranked Northwest Missouri State University volleyball team bounced back with a 3-1 victory at Missouri Western Saturday afternoon.

The Bearcats moved to 8-2 on the year and took the match by scores of 22-25, 25-13, 25-10 and 27-25.

Jaden Ferguson powered the Bearcats with 16 kills and hit .520 in the four-set victory. Ferguson also added two blocks assists.

Alyssa Rezac ran the Bearcat offense and tallied 52 assists. Rezac's setting allowed Northwest to hit .320 for the match with 59 kills.

Northwest will play host to Missouri Southern Friday at 6 p.m. in the Hughes Fieldhouse.
