In April 2020, the MIAA announced a new five-year partnership with Blue Frame Technology. The MIAA now becomes the first conference in the NCAA to have all regular-season and championship events behind a paywall.
This new platform will allow fans to purchase content in all MIAA sports and not limit them to a sport-specific subscription. All sports are behind a paywall, and the MIAA members have agreed to enhance broadcast capabilities. All MIAA football games along with all MIAA home volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball games will be broadcasted exclusively on The MIAA Network. All other sport broadcasts will be available exclusively on the MIAA Network, however, they are at the discretion of the host institution. Northwest will offer game streams of football, soccer, volleyball, men's/women's basketball, men's/women's indoor track & field, baseball and softball.
Northwest has led the viewership of The MIAA Network year-in and year-out with outstanding numbers. For instance, last season Northwest men's/women's basketball averaged just under 500 views per game on The MIAA Network. The second-closest league member was 190 less views per game. The Bearcat men's basketball led the way in road views with 613 per contest.
The MIAA Network broadcasts can be viewed on desktop, mobile devices and internet-connected television devices anywhere in the world. The MIAA Network content is available live, via live DVR, and is also immediately archived for on-demand viewing after each event. This means fans of the MIAA Network can watch whenever, wherever, and on their platform of choice.
Fans can find all of the action on
