OTTAWA, Kansas - The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team picked up a 22-7 non-conference road win at Ottawa University Wednesday.
The Bearcats reached 20 runs for the first time since a 20-10 win over Nebraska-Kearney on March 13, 2015. Northwest scored at least a run in every inning but the seventh inning.
Northwest used an eight-run fourth inning to blow the contest wide open.
Sophomore center fielder
Drew Mackie knocked in six runs and went 2-for-5 at the dish.
Sophomore second baseman
Brett Holden went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI.
Senior first baseman
Connor Quick went 3-for-5 with four RBI.Â
Northwest (11-12 overall) will travel to Central Oklahoma for a three-game MIAA series this Saturday and Sunday.
