ST. JOSEPH, Missouri - The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat volleyball team moved to 4-0 with a sweep of Missouri Southern.

Northwest won by set scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-18.

Head coach Amy Woerth described the action.

"In today's sweep I thought our serve and pass really carried the load," Woerth said. "Our offense did a great job getting kills, but also had too many unforced errors. Missouri Southern brought a different game than the last time we played them and I was proud of how our ladies grinded it out on the defensive side."

Northwest will travel to Nebraska-Kearney for its next match Friday at 6 p.m.
