SPRINGFIELD, Missouri - The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team came up short for the first time this season in a 4-3 dual loss at Drury University late Friday night at the Cooper Indoor Tennis Courts.

The Bearcats's No. 3 doubles duo of Fabien Calloud and Augustin Velasco notched a 6-3 win over Drury's Isaac Ogilvy and Lukas Stierling. However Drury was able to pull together wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to secure the point and take a 1-0 lead.

Northwest picked up a trio of singles wins from No. 1 Andrea Zamurri, Calloud and Velasco, but could not secure the dual win as Drury also tallied three singles victories.

Northwest (2-1 overall) will take on McKendree in Springfield on Saturday at 1 p.m.
