TOPEKA, Kansas - The Washburn University Ichabod women's volleyball team evened the spring series with the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat squad on Saturday with a 3-1 win over the visitors.

Washburn won the match by set scores of 25-19, 24-26, 25-18 and 25-16.

Head coach Amy Woerth talked about the match.

"We had consistent times of very clean play, but needed longer stretches of it," Woerth said. "Their defense and offensive play were better than ours today."
