Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Missouri - The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 6-0 victory over the No. 25-ranked Southwest Baptist Bearcats Friday night the Cooper Indoor Tennis Courts.

Northwest won the doubles point with triumphs at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.

Northwest proceeded to win the first five singles matches to secure the 6-0 win. The No. 6 singles match for Agustin Velasco was tied 5-5 in the first set when the match was called.

Northwest will be back in action Saturday against No. 20 Midwestern State.
