The Northwest Missouri State University volleyball team moved up two slots this week to No. 17 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Top 25.

The Bearcats (4-0 overall) posted a three-game sweep of Missouri Southern this past Saturday in St. Joseph, Missouri.

This week the Bearcats will travel to Kearney, Nebraska, to take on the No. 15-ranked Nebraska-Kearney Lopers (5-2 overall) Friday at 6 p.m.

The Bearcats will also make their way to Hays, Kansas, for a matchup Saturday at 3 p.m. against Fort Hays State (2-1 overall).

Both matches will be shown live on The MIAA Network.
