KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA has announced the 2021 All-Tournament Team. The 14 member-team is selected by the coaching staffs of the MIAA Tournament qualifying teams.
Tournament champion Emporia State had three selections, led by forward Mackenzie Dimarco, midfielder Aislinn Hughes and defender Ashlyn Lakin.
MIAA regular season champion Central Missouri was represented by goalkeeper Sydney Daris, midfielder Lexi Ruf and forward Sydney Leslie.
Semifinalists Northwest Missouri and Central Oklahoma each had two selections.
Kaylie Rock and
Madi McKeever were picked from the Bearcat side and the Bronchos selected Madison Linavong and Meredith Wilson.
Rock posted a hat trick in Northwest's 5-0 MIAA Tournament quarterfinal win over Washburn. McKeever led the defensive effort against the Ichabods which produced the first shutout victory in Bearcat MIAA tourney history.
Jaedyn Johnson from Washburn, Hayley Garcia from Northeastern State, Jordan Thompson from Fort Hays State and Evelyn Daly from Missouri Western rounded out the 2021 squad.
