The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat football team jumped to No. 4 in the NCAA Division II Super Region rankings released Monday afternoon.
After trouncing Nebraska-Kearney, 66-13, the Bearcats are the only MIAA team to improve in this week's rankings as Nebraska-Kearney and Washburn each dropped a spot.
The top seven teams in the final Super Region rankings will take part in the 2021 NCAA Division II Playoffs beginning Nov. 20.Â
