Northwest is coming into the weekend 2-7 overall having dropped four straight games after playing in the Alvy Early Classic in Bentonville, Arkansas last weekend.

Northwest will face three teams they have already seen this year. The Bearcats started the season with a 4-2 win over Concordia-St. Paul on Feb. 7. They saw Concordia-St. Paul again on Feb. 9 and suffered an 8-2 loss. The Bearcats faced Minnesota State on Feb. 7 and came away with a 4-3 win. They saw Minnesota State again on Feb. 8 and suffered an 8-2 loss. Northwest ended last weekends' tournament with a 9-1 loss to Maryville and will start the tournament this weekend with a rematch with the Saints.
 
NOTES: Brashear leads the team in batting average with a .429. Brashear has one double, one home run and four RBI. Daugherty is slugging a .345 average with three doubles, one home run and a team high of five RBI. Kaitlyn Weis isn't far behind with a .321 average, two doubles, one home run and four RBI.
