STING OF DEFEAT
The Bearcats travel to take on No. 16-ranked Emporia State Hornets this Thursday and look to change the results of the past. The Hornets lead the series 41-14 all-time against the Bearcats, and have won their last 10 contests against the Bearcats.
BACK-TO-BACK VS BODS
Northwest looks to win back-to-back games against the Washburn Ichabods for the first time since November 30, 1985. The Bearcats defeated the Ichabods 72-70 in their final game of the season last year. The Ichabods are 55-15 against the Bearcats all-time.
LOCKDOWN
Northwest is ranked No. 6 in the country in scoring defense by holding opponents to 51.3 points per game. That mark is good for the best scoring defense in the MIAA as well, 0.9 points ahead of Fort Hays in second at 52.2.

The Bearcats rank No. 4 in the country in free throw percentage at 80.9%. The Bearcats have six players shooting 75% or higher from the charity stripe.
Kylie Coleman is tops on the team having made 22-of-23 free throws (95.7%).

Kendey Eaton leads the squad in scoring at 15.1 points per game. Eaton has reached double-figure scoring in ten contests and has scored 20 or more on three occasions.

The Bearcats current three game win streak is the first since January, 2019. The 3-1 start in the MIAA is the best for the Bearcats since the 2007-08 season where they started 4-1.
