RIVALRY WEEK
The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team (8-7) looks to take on the Missouri Western Griffons (12-3) in their only game of the week. The Bearcats look to change their recent success against the Griffons, as the Bearcats have lost 10 of their last 11 games against Missouri Western. The Griffons lead the all-time series 42-29.

Northwest is ranked No. 14 in the country in scoring defense by holding opponents to 53.7 points per game. That mark is good for the best scoring defense in the MIAA as well, 0.1 points ahead of Nebraska-Kearney in second at 53.8.

The Bearcats rank No. 2 in the country in free throw percentage at 81.7%. The Bearcats have six players shooting 75% or higher from the charity stripe.
Kylie Coleman is tops on the team having made 27-of-28 free throws (95.7%).

Kendey Eaton leads the squad in scoring at 14.6 points per game. Eaton has reached double-figure scoring in ten contests and has scored 20 or more on three occasions.

The Bearcats currently sit at eighth in the MIAA at 3-3. Two of the Bearcats three losses came to the top two teams in the conference (Central Missouri and Emporia State).
