Bearcats go on the road to play Tigers and Lions

Thursday- Feb. 7 at Lindenwood (14-4) (8-3) 5:30 p.m.
Saturday- Feb. 9 at Lincoln (9-11) (1-10) 1 p.m.

FAMILIAR FOES
Northwest goes on the road this time, to face Lindenwood and Lincoln for the second time this year. The Bearcats dropped both of the home matches earlier in the year. Lincoln was a three point loss and they lost to Lindenwood by 15. Northwest lost the first quarters in those games by a combined 27 points, getting off to a quicker start will be key for the Bearcats. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team fell to Missouri Southern 61-58 on a buzzer beater three-pointer by Chelsey Henry.

Northwest fell victim to poor shooting again shooting only 26.8 percent from the field. 

The Bearcats were led in scoring by Jaelyn Haggard with 16. Mallory McConkey added 14 and Kaylani Maiava had 12. Mallory McConkey also had 18 rebounds, which is tied for eighth in school history. Northwest outrebounded Missouri Southern 39-36. 


LAND OF THE FREE THROW
Northwest is second in the nation in free-throw percentage at 80.7%. Kendey aton is shooting 93.7% from the stripe, she is  46-49 on the year. Jaelyn Haggard, Kaylani Maiava, and Mallory McConkey are all shooting over 80% as well.
