THE LAST RUN
Northwest will play their rival Missouri Western at home for senior night Tuesday. Seniors Mallory McAndrews (St. Joseph, Missouri/Benton), Kaylani Maiava (Garden Grove, California/Foothill HS), and Maria Dentlinger (Arcadia, Iowa/Kuemper Catholic HS) will be honored. Mallory McAndrews is tied for the fourth most threes made in Northwest history. Maria Dentlinger will be playing in her 100th game this year and has started 33. Kaylani Maiava has played in 50 games and started 33. The Bearcats will then go on the road to face Washburn for their final game of the year. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team connected on a season-high 15 three-pointers but came up on the short end of a 79-66 decision at Southwest Baptist University.

Northwest knocked in 15-of-30 from three-point range. Sophomore Jaelyn Haggard led Northwest with 20 points as she drained six from distance. Junior Kendey Eaton tallied 15 points and sophomore Kylie Coleman joined her in double figures with 10 points.

LAND OF THE FREE THROW
Northwest is second in the nation in free-throw percentage at 80.1%. Kendey Eaton is third in the country, shooting 93.1% from the stripe, she is  67-72 on the year. Jaelyn Haggard, Kaylani Maiava, and Mallory McConkey are all shooting over 80% as well.
