The Northwest Missouri State University softball team will be traveling to Russellville, Arkansas, and Conway, Arkansas, this weekend after adjusting its schedule due to inclement weather.

The Bearcats will take to the field Saturday with a pair of games at 12:15 p.m. vs. Upper Iowa and at 2:30 p.m. vs. Minnesota State Mankato. They will play another set of games Sunday at 12:30 p.m. vs. Rogers State and at either 8:30 a.m. or 7 p.m. vs. Parkside.

Kaitlyn Weis leads the Bearcats with a batting average of .667 with one home run and two RBI through two contests.

Kiana Baderdeen and Jaedra Moses also have made strong starts on offense for the Bearcats. Baderdeen is hitting .429 and leading the squad with three RBI. Moses is hitting a .333.

Junior pitcher Rachel Smith pitched a complete game against Midwestern State and has an ERA of 3.00.
