Bearcat Football All You Need to Know: Lindenwood

MARYVILLE, Mo. - For the second straight week the Northwest Missouri State University football team will play host to an NCAA Division II playoff game. Northwest will take on the Lindenwood Lions at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bearcat Stadium.

The winner of Saturday's Northwest-Lindenwood contest will take on the winner of Central Missouri-Ferris State game in the Super Region 3 final on Dec. 7.

TICKET INFORMATION
(Note: The first 500 Northwest students that show up on game day with a valid student ID will receive free admission to the playoff game courtesy of the Bearcat Booster Club.)

Tailgate lots will be open five hours prior to kickoff (8 a.m.). The Bearcat football team will walk from Hughes Fieldhouse to Bearcat Stadium at 10:30 a.m.

The Northwest Missouri State University department of athletics would like to encourage fans to enjoy the game-day experience at Bearcat Stadium.

All tailgating activities and consumption of alcohol shall cease at kickoff.

Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased online HERE. You can also purchase your ticket at the gate on Saturday.

On Saturday, ticket sales and gates will open at 11:30 a.m. Stadium gates will also open at 11:30 a.m.

Cross Country Takes 5th at NCAA Championships
The Northwest Missouri State University men's cross country team put together the best performance in program history with a fifth-place finish at the 2019 NCAA Championship in Sacramento.

Northwest's Karim Achengli and Jhordan Ccope notched All-America honors and led the way with a pair of top-10 finishes. Achengli placed sixth overall (29:52.5), while Ccope took ninth (30:04.1).

Men's Basketball Home Wednesday
The No. 1-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's basketball team will play at home Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Illinois-Springfield.

Northwest is 6-0 overall and Illinois-Springfield is also undefeated at 5-0.
