HOME AND ROAD
The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team (2-2) will face Nebraska Christian College at home on Thursday, then will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to take on the University of Northern Iowa in an exhibition game Sunday. This year is the first time that Northwest played two Division I programs in one season since the 2007-08 season.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bearcats lost to the Maryville University Saints, 68-57. The Bearcats fell behind quickly losing the first quarter, 19-12. Northwest played well defensively, forcing Maryville to commit 15 turnovers, and getting seven steals. The Bearcats struggled to find the basket shooting only 18-of-62 (29%) from the field.
Jaelyn Haggard led the Bearcats with 16 points, followed by
Kendey Eaton with 12 and
Kylie Coleman with 11. Eaton led the Bearcats in rebounds with six.
Mia Stillman and
Erika Schlosser led the Bearcats with three steals each.Â
BEHIND THE ARC
The Bearcats splashed home a barrage of three-pointers against Kansas Christian (Nov. 13) going 18-of-38 from behind the arc, one short of the school record of 19 set against Peru State (Nov. 15, 2017).
GETTING EVERYONE INVOLVED
The Bearcats had four players score in double figures against Kansas Christian (Nov. 13) for the first time since Dec. 6, 2018 against Lincoln University.
Kylie Coleman led the way with 18 points, followed by
Zoie Hayward with 17,
Jaelyn Haggard with 15 and
Paityn Rau with 10.Â

Northwest has held opponents to 53.8 ppg in their first four games. This is 15th in the country among teams who have played four or more games. Opponents have shot only 36.4% from the field against the Bearcats.Â
