ABOVE .500
The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team (2-1) will face Maryville University (1-1) in its second home game this year. After winning their fourth home opener in a row, the Bearcats are over .500 for the first time since Dec. 11, 2016.Â
LAST TIME OUT
Northwest defeated the Kansas Christian Falcons in its home opener, 90-22. The 90 points are the most points the Bearcats have scored since tallying 98 in a win over Lincoln (Feb. 25, 2017) . Northwest's victory margin of 68 fell short of its largest ever margin of victory, 99, set against Missouri-St. Louis on Nov. 26, 1977 in a 120-21 win.
BEHIND THE ARC
The Bearcats splashed home a barrage of three-pointers against Kansas Christian going 18-of-38 from behind the arc, one short of the school record of 19 set against Peru State (Nov. 15, 2017).
