KANSAS CITY, Missouri - No. 6-ranked Rockhurst University rallied from a 2-1 deficit to post a five-set win over the Northwest Missouri State University volleyball team in the finale of the Rockhurst Classic. The Hawks won by scores of 21-25, 25-18, 16-25, 25-16, 15-5.

Senior Maddy Bruder secured her second straight 20-plus kill effort. Bruder posted a match-high 25 kills (.296). Jordyn Musselman recorded 41 assists and five digs. Olivia Nowakowski notched a team-best 15 digs.

Northwest will be back in action next weekend in Wichita, Kansas, taking part in the Jet Classic hosted by Newman University. Northwest will take on Ouachita Baptist (Fri., 2 p.m.), St. Edwards (Sat., 10 a.m.) and Newman (Sat., 6 p.m.).

NOTES: Maddy Bruder was named to the Rockhurst Classic All-Tournament team ... Bruder tallied a team-best 71 kills (4.18 kills/set) in the four matches.
